The evening this is about
Plenty of venues do not need anyone to build them a site. They need a good starting point that already knows what a restaurant site has to do, and an afternoon to put their own words in it.
- The generic template has a slider, a team page and no obvious way to show a menu.
- The menu section assumes eight dishes and you have sixty.
- There is nowhere sensible for opening hours or a holiday closure.
- Everything is editable and nothing is decided.
What it actually does
- Starts from a layout built for a venue: hours, menu, booking, where you are.
- Keeps the menu as data, so changing a dish is one change and not three.
- Comes with the allergen handling already in place, because in the EU you will need it.
- Is yours to keep and edit — no monthly fee to keep a page you already paid for.
The detail that matters
The honest reason to choose a template over a build is that most of the value in a venue website is in four screens that every venue needs, done properly. If your place does not need anything unusual, paying for a bespoke build is paying for the same four screens with a longer conversation attached.
What it does not do
- There is nothing to buy here yet. This is the shape of what is planned; when there is something to download, this page will say so.
- A template does not write your text. The words about your own venue are the one part nobody else can do for you.
We would rather you read this before the call than find out after.
Where it sits
Templates, photography, guides and staff training. Website Templates is one of five tools in Store & Resources, and it runs on the same guest, booking and menu data as the rest of the Suite — so nothing is typed in twice.
- Website TemplatesIndustry-specific, ready to go, with live preview.
- Photos & AssetsHospitality photography that doesn't look like stock.
- Guides & E-BooksRunning, pricing and marketing a venue, written down.
- Staff Micro-LearningA new waiter ready in days, drilled on their own phone.
- Care & SupportMonthly updates, AI tuning, and someone who answers.
Fifteen minutes, no slides.
