Boutique Web Design

Built for a direct reservation, not a portal booking.

Web & Commerce

The evening this is about

Most restaurant websites are built to look good to the owner and are used by someone standing in the rain trying to find out whether you are open. Those are two different jobs, and only one of them brings anybody through the door.

  • The menu is a PDF that opens sideways on a phone.
  • The opening hours are in a picture, so search engines cannot read them.
  • It takes four taps to find the phone number.
  • The site looks beautiful on a laptop, which is not where anyone sees it.

What it actually does

  • Puts the four things people came for — hours, menu, where you are, how to book — within one tap.
  • Loads fast on a phone on a bad connection outside your door.
  • Reads the menu from the same place the kitchen keeps it, so it cannot drift out of date.
  • Is written so search engines can read the facts: the hours, the address, the dishes.

The detail that matters

This site is the argument. It is a hand-written page with no builder underneath it, it weighs less than most single photographs, it sets no cookies, it loads its own fonts, and every page you are reading is generated from one source of data. What we would build for your venue is built the same way, for the same reasons.

What it does not do

  • It is not a template with your logo dropped in. If that is what you want, it is cheaper elsewhere and that is a fair choice.
  • It is not a rebuild every two years. Built this way, a site stays current because the data behind it does.

We would rather you read this before the call than find out after.

Where it sits

A site that sells, on the phone the guest is holding. Boutique Web Design is one of three tools in Web & Commerce, and it runs on the same guest, booking and menu data as the rest of the Suite — so nothing is typed in twice.

Fifteen minutes, no slides.

Tell us how your venue runs and we will say plainly whether Boutique Web Design helps — and which two or three tools to start with.
