Peak hours and the numbers behind the shift.

Revenue & Waste

The evening this is about

Most venues find out how the month went in the middle of the next one, from an accountant, in a format built for the tax office. By then the month is gone and so is the chance to have done anything about it.

  • You know takings were down and cannot say whether it was covers, spend per head, or one bad weekend.
  • Labour felt heavy on Sunday, but nobody can put a number on it before payroll.
  • Two dishes are selling well and nobody knows which of them actually makes money.
  • The question "how did last month go" takes two hours of spreadsheets to answer.

What it actually does

  • Shows today's takings against the same day last week, cut to the same hour — not against a whole day that has not happened yet.
  • Separates revenue by where it came from: the till, the outlets, the rooms.
  • Puts labour cost next to it as the shift runs, not after payroll.
  • Gives you a Monday-morning view of what happened over the weekend and what is waiting, without you asking for it.

The detail that matters

Every number here is calculated once and used everywhere. The takings on the home screen are the same takings on the costs screen, from the same function — because two screens showing two numbers for the same question are worth less than no screen at all, and that is the state most venues are actually in.

What it does not do

  • It does not replace your accountant. It tells you on Tuesday what they will tell you in March.
  • It shows nothing invented. Where a figure is incomplete it says so and leaves the gap visible instead of filling it with a zero.

We would rather you read this before the call than find out after.

Where it sits

Pricing that moves, and food that doesn't reach the bin. Executive Insights is one of three tools in Revenue & Waste, and it runs on the same guest, booking and menu data as the rest of the Suite — so nothing is typed in twice.

Fifteen minutes, no slides.

Tell us how your venue runs and we will say plainly whether Executive Insights helps — and which two or three tools to start with.
