Wedding & Event Inquiries

Every enquiry in one list — site, directories, phone — with the source on it.

The evening this is about

A wedding enquiry is worth more than a table for two by an order of magnitude, and it usually arrives by email on a Friday evening — which is precisely when nobody in a venue is reading email. By Monday the couple has been answered by somebody else.

  • The enquiry lands on Friday at seven and is read on Monday at eleven.
  • The reply asks for the date, the numbers and the budget — all of which were in the original message.
  • Four enquiries are open and nobody can say which two were promised a call back.
  • Two couples are quietly holding the same Saturday because neither was ever asked to confirm.

What it actually does

  • Takes the enquiry with the things you always have to ask for anyway — date, numbers, kind of event, what matters to them.
  • Answers immediately with what can be answered immediately: whether the date is free, what the room holds, what happens next and when.
  • Puts every open enquiry in one list with its stage, so nothing sits unanswered by accident.
  • Holds the date provisionally, with an expiry, so a maybe does not block a Saturday for five months.

The detail that matters

Speed is most of it. The couple sends four enquiries the same evening and the first sensible reply shapes the whole conversation — not because they are impatient, but because that reply is the first evidence they have about how organised you are. Everything after that is judged against it.

What it does not do

  • It does not sell the wedding. Nobody books a venue because of a form; they book because of the visit and the person who showed them round.
  • It does not quote. The numbers come from the Event Calculator, when there is enough to quote on.

We would rather you read this before the call than find out after.

Fifteen minutes, no slides.

Tell us how your venue runs and we will say plainly whether Wedding & Event Inquiries helps — and which two or three tools to start with.
